was under the impression the STI holds its value btter than WRX

We all know that Subaru residuals suck don't we
Yes they will become worse as fuel/taxation prices increase.
You will get screwed if you trade in, especially at a different manufacturer.
I was offered 12500 trade at VW and sold privately for 16500.
Just takes a bit of time and effort
Oh yeah I bought a 6 month old with 3.5k miles and let some other sucker take the £7500 big hit

2 litre saloons comparisons, scooby does ok againt so called prestige marques

but then thats because there are such a great number of A4's and 3 series on the road today.

what did you buy and how much?

Best price I've seen for a WRX 06 was £13.5k

Sorry Ray, was talking about my old 03 sti. Just making an example of how p*ss poor trade in is, especially at a different manufacturer.
