Im 20; but am 21 next month. I have a MY99 Uk Turbo, sat there waiting for the day. This is due to the insurance being quite high now; but it should not be too bad once 21!! Roll on June!!
I recently had a quote for myself; but with the details slightly modified so I was 21 now and it was £1300 fully comp.

do non fault accidents damage your quote chances. as im in a wrangle now from the pillock who smacked me off a junction. obviously claiming off him due to his liability. i take it the insurers remember come renewal time, but will my premuim go up even though its 100% other drivers fault.

It definately gets better over 25 if you build up your no claims and stay out of trouble. I pay £550 fully comp including no-claims protection, no accidents/convictions, 6yrs ncb, on a 93 import with mods declared (A-Plan). Although I am 28 now.

It's all about the no claims!
No claims is how to save money!
I'm "only" 24 now, with a P1, fully comp, with 4 years no claims and only paying £1,400 a year with TESCO.
When I first started driving I had a fiesta 1.3 and that was costing £1600 a year!!!
Some people when they start driving will go on their mum/dad's insurance but won't build up any no claims hoping to save a few quid, but what that means is, is that later on in life when they have a better car their insurance is gona be high.
