right ok. so one year directline quotes a renewal price of £1000
another company beats it and quotes £750.
hmmm yes il stay with the first then. sod it i drive a german barge and race on the motorway at 130 in a diesel. yes i can afford the extra premuim, as my suits are in good condition and dont need replacing yet anyway.

It scares me how much you boys are paying.
I'm 26 I have 8NCB, no accidents, points etc and I'm paying £595 fully comp. If I remember rightly the most I've ever paid was £950 and that was when I was 22 for a more modified Impreza.
Insurance can't have gone up that much.
By the by, I'm with Highways via HIC brokers.

Doesnt make sense. It will always work out cheaper for the named driver as they will have NCB with directline. As long as the named driver stays with directline they will still have their NCB with them and it will be cheaper, and if it isnt they should rejoice, so either way its win win.
