what a brilliant day. drive down was entertaining. i really need a 6 speed gearbox!

as you guys left captn needed a visit to the little boys room so i thought that i'd check the oil in the scooby. good job i did as it was only just about showing on the dip stick. glad i always carry some oil with me.

there was some amazingly quick cars on track, the evo's were easily quicker then the scoobs tho

No surprise there Mark, I think it is a well known fact that Evo's are generally quicker round a track.

Although there were a couple of scoobs I noticed carving their way through the field of Evo's

audi quattro's were so fast, especially tha red one, he came out of the chicane and onto Quarry blisteringly faster then any other car, even the works Stobart focus and Gwindaff Evans mitsubshi evo

Yes a top day indeed. I love the journey to & from more than the event!!
Maybe a convoy to knowhere should be arranged , have some grub & then a trip back from knowhere!!
Seriously though met some nice people , saw some great cars & loved the drive.
To the next one!

Bet that almost took your mind off all the damn tree sap that covered the cars? After claying, waxing and extra glossing the car a week before, the whole car felt like sandpaper! Fortunately, it seemed to wash off ok the next day!

Castle Combe is not big enough for the numbers these events attract !!

yeah i soon forgot about the tree sap when i saw how little oil it had in it.

not had time to clean mine off yet, but then it will be getting completely wet sanded over the winter, may even stripped so it can be cleaned properly

it would be difficult to fit us in else where but they could put more of the smaller groups out there and let us have trackside
