The one thing I will say is why do many larger ladies ( not all)insist on wearing clothes which makes the issue look larger than it is.. if you know what I mean..

agree - if my wife got fat i would have serious issues.....if she didnt feel the same about me getting fat i wonder what had happened to her self worth if she thought that all she deserved was a fat pig that couldnt see his toes!

Most of the pressure for women to be skinny actually comes from other women, usually the underfed, underfcuked witches who work for the so called 'celebrity' magazines.

My own personal preferences, and those of most men of my aquaintance, are definitely more Salma Hayek than Kate Moss

Slowing metabolisms, bad diet and obsessions with fad diets (as opposed to exercise and eating properly), and plain old laziness, are all to blame for both women and men getting fatter as they get older.

Curves rule. One of my mates goes for stick insects only, but I reckon his wife has the figure of 7 year old boy <shudder>. ****, hips and bum should all have a nice shape.

I was skinny in my early 20's and the wife was curvy but it's fair to say that 10 years on we've both gained some unwelcome poundage. Are we comfortable with it? Yes. If I was single again though, I'd probably make more effort to shift it

Was talking with my mate who is a size 8 and she said she's miserbable! No ****, no hips, no bum and she thinks clothes look horrible on her. She used to be a size 16 and got loads more male attention when she was bigger. She lost all her weight after having her 2nd baby. How that happened I don't know!!!

Anyway, my weight gain is through medication, which I have now stopped and I'm eating a good diet and starting excercise so hope the spare tyre I have will disappear!!

well i say the chubby birds are a easier **** and they love ya for it ive also found the tasty birds to be up themselfs and high maintenance in the past.

Mmmm difficult one this, as on the whole I dont like fat girls, but some girls do look good being curvy. On the whole I tend to like girls that are in the 10 - 14 size range.

Nothing gets the weight off, like the `single` diet, ie. when your on your own. In a relationship, you always get complacent and put weight on. I found that my g/f and one did this, and at one point I just didnt fancy her anymore. Loved the person, but still needed to fancy her, and told her. So, both of us now jog and have lost weight together.

One funny thing to note is, if your with a skinny girl, then after a while you really get this urge for a curvy one, with the slappable 4rse, bigger bust. When with a bigger girl, you get a hunger for a skinny girl. So, you cant win.

For me, I like the Soprano's attitude. Find a girl that would be a great mother, marry her, whilst still having mistress for good old dirty sex, shacked up in a flat somewhere. I tend to get so bored after a while with g/f's, that a good old Saturday night pick up / **** or a "bit of stray" does me a world of good.

Now, on the reverse side of the coin, when a woman starts to think her man is getting fat, then I just see that as so narrow minded and shallow !!!!

I put on weight in my early twenties due to lack of excercise coupled with too much beer and kebabs
I am now fitter, lighter and healthier than I was 7 years ago (I am now 32)...

I see fat people as lazy malnourished geasy mingers... There are the odd occasions where a fatty has a genetic defect but the old addage about the mouth being a bigger hole than the *** is usually apt.

I like curves on a woman, it's scientifically proven that there is a "perfect" hips/waist ratio for women... If you're a 40/46/44 bird you're not in the zone

Blokes also let themselves go too... I dont just pigeon hole fat women as lazy, greedy, cud chewing heffers... Blokes need to think about it too...

I went to the docs last year for an "M.O.T." and was told that my cholesterol was a tad high (6.85)... This was because I was a tad fat. So I lost more fat by doing more excercise, reducing the takeaway count and eating more veg and fruit and within 12 months am down to below 6 with a BMI of 28.5...Still more work to do

and if you did split and get in shape would you pick a fatty? of course not - its all about becoming lazy with who you are and who you are with.

and people are still giving it the "stick insect" thing......no one is saying you should go for someone that looks ill! But there's a whole world of people that exist between stick think and slightly overweight that are a lot more appealing than overweight folk!

As a broad generalisataion size 12 is about right for me.
Not too skinny (nothing to cuddle) - not too fat(you dont want a rhino)

Its all about proportion not weight. You can get a larger women who has good proportions and is more attactive than a slimmer woman who god hasnt thrown together that well.

It is also about how you dress not weight. You can get a larger woman who dresses very well - makes the most of her assets and covers the not so good stuff who is more attractive than a slimer woman who has no idea what so ever.

Women are always banging on about their weight but they are seriously missing the point. It is what you make of yourself.

I had a relationship with a turkish model and TV star. Her body was perfect. Not meny men get close to anything like that. What a complete nutter - a grade A bitch. The worst woman I have ever been with. The other total head turners I have been with (the last one was 4 years) have also turned into nightmares.

So what is the perfect woman.
1. A reasonable figure - nothing near perfect.
2. A good personality - humour, kindness, decency,consideration
3. Dresses well
4. Someone who likes a cuddle - But who is a totaly filthy bitch in bed (ladies any man who doesn´t admit that to you is lying to you )

So - figure is only one factor and it doesnt have to be no where near perfect.

i will always want my missus to look good, and i will always want to look good myself! eat right, workout and make the most out of yourself! I dont know why people say its shallow to want a good looking slim partner??? i have always had that as a priority aswell as a good personality etc etc.

The advantage of being a man is that we tend to do more manual labour, and thus stay buff with bad dietry habits. Nattering on the phone on a reception desk, sadly has its reprises....

Still doesn't explain my mate Rob, who is pot bellied and builder bummed, yet can hoist a concrete gravel board on his shoulders like it was made of polystyrene. But then a full English breakfast and 4 pints of Mild everyday probably counteract that.

But it's still a good excuse to get the missus to wash, polish and wax the car. Mow the lawn, decorate the louge, rip out the old bathroom suite, shift that 2ton of stone chipping dumped on the drive etc...meanwhile crack open a tinny, lay back on hammock and shout motivational encourangment to your missus whilst she does all the work
