Seriously, these are obviously magnifiscent brakes. But are they are direct fit for a Scoob vs a 2-ton Bentley? Please take good advice. The worst case scenario is that you need to change your front-rear balance bias valve (Harvey does them for about £10).
Don't mean to be alarmist, but you need your rears to be be operating optimum or the thing wil be an uncontrollable snake in an emergency.
Good luck!
Richard.

These brakes are spec'd to my newage sti and are designed to work perfectly without upsetting the balance of the car.

Most of the big brake 'boys' do actually research the brake balance side of things you know! They dont just make something and stick it out for sale.
So all your StopTech and AP and Alcon and more will not upset the brake bias of your car, they are designed that way.

ive got the Alcon Prodrive 4 pots and they stop the car awesomely (MY93) so if the 6 pots are better then that is going to be one heck of a stopping machine. Look the business as well.
Be interested though to see if the 343mm will fit on 17" wheels though, as my 330mm discs and caliper fill 17"s nicely with a rizla paper gap between caliper and wheel

Hey guys,
I gues ive been a little quiet recently due to losing a bit of heart with the car.
Basically you all know that i sold my Brembos that i refurbed 6 weeks ago.
Well whats happened since then?.... Not alot to be honest.
The car has sat at Mocom Racing since, Not even been washed!!!
I refurbed and sold my Brembos and ordered a set of 343mm fully floating Alcon monoblock 6 pots. Well after 2 attempts for Alcon to get it right im still waiting on now a 3rd set of brakes to be made.
First set were 4 pots, 2nd set were 370mm with the wrong PCD.. now the 3rd set ive been promised for the 19th of this month.
Im certainly not holding my breath put it that way.. but we shall see.
Ive managed to get another set of pads thrown in FOC (Mintex F2's) for my agrovation.
Watch this space....

I would want more than that TBH. Maybe they should at least cover the cost of fitting for you. This kind of thing is sheer incompetence IMO and I would expect more from a company with a reputation that Alcon enjoy.
Hope it's sorted soon.

Ears Motorsport received my 3rd set of Alcons today and dummy fitted them on a car in the workshop to be sure theyre 100% perfect for when i get them.
Basically they dont fit, they needed 2.9mm removed from the radial mount to bring the calipers closer to the hub and then they want me to run 7mm spacers in order make them fit.
Funking 7mm spacers!!!!
That would increase my front track by 14mm!! and then id have to do the reas so that the car was square.
Ive told them to poke the brakes and that i want my money back!! Its been 9 weeks now and after 3 sets of brakes which cost me £1800, im not prepared to settle for anything less.
Ive decided to ditch the 17s and get another set of 18s to run on track. This was not my original plan but it seems top be the way forward.
Looks like i'll have to settle for 356mm AP 6 pots. At least i know that when i order them they will be in stock and available for next day delivery!!
Im so funked off its untrue. Ive basically lost 2 months of insurance due to this too.
Alcon make the works brakes for the WRC impreza and supply McLaren F1...
How comes they cant sort out a w@nky funking road going impreza after 3 attempts!!!
