In the vid the RS4 looked quite twitchy on several bends, especially towards the end. I suppose the Audi's weight hampers its handling a bit, looked good on the straights though.

Seems to me they were just playing. I would suspect the Audi was supposed to stay the lead car. At the very start it looks like they are starting as a stage. Think you here walkie talkie beeps.
I think the Audi really did have the legs on the scoob, clean bit of road and it was gone. They only bunched up once they came up on traffic. The other A4 looks like an S4 (wheels) and the pair rip off into the distance mainly because the scoob gets tucked up under the lorry and has to slow down whilst the other two are speeding up.
Its always harder being the lead car when driving quickly. I perfer to let the other guy overtake and then follow. If anything comes, I use their car as a warning
