Had a go last night, the faster the car more I struggle
Managed;
M3 1:07.217 and Mustang 1:07.207
Tried to get a decent time in the 'A' class but haven't managed to get under the one minute mark (although I'm not using TCS ) Not sure if it would be easier with the wheel, certainly with force feedback I'd imagine it's easier to tell what the car is doing?

i REALLY dont want to have to buy another steering wheel
does anybody know why the logitech wheels dont work with the xbox?
its must just be a driver issue or something?

Same here Sticky, I love my MOMO wheel but it looks like none of the logitech ones work
Likewise, I'm not sure if the official MS wheel is as good as the MOMO if used on the PC (I assume you can?)

the dfp works on the pc fine, i cant see why it should be such a problem with the 360.
i checked the logitech wheel for the 360 and it looks crap with no force feedback

I want to use my DFP as well but I guess its Microsoft making 360 owners buy their licensed equipment and not providing drivers/updates on the 360 dashboard to support unlicensed hardware. Making the DFP work with the 360 would be a very big positive point for me.
Does it work on the PS3?

Had a play on the demo at lunch - can't say I'm overly impressed over Forza 1, and where is the in-car view?? Any next gen driving game MUST have an in-car view IMO - the PGR in car view was excellent!!
Handling/physics seemed good, graphics/cars too shiny, nice track detail and AI looked OK - not blown away so far though

No one actually played PGR3 from the incar view though did they!?!
I only every used it on replays cause you couldn't see the track/road clearly enough to race with it.
Agree with the 'cars are too shiney' comment though!

I registered my G25 and Logitech sent me a customer satisfaction survey a few days ago. Anything we can do to make it a better product? Too right, I suggested getting the 360 and it to talk would be good
Bet they don't listen!

I did the whole of PGR3 using the in-car view - I like my driving games to be done the hardcore way and always use in-car, even on the last few Colin Mcrae games when it was raining and it made you go dizzy.

I'm usually all for using in-car views normally, but found the PGR3 one too restrictive, plus for some reason, the more 'arcadey' the game the more it seems to suit a chase cam viewpoint. PGR3 (and 2&1), CMR etc all were chase cam games, Richard Burns Rally, GTR, GTL, GTR2, Race:WTCC etc etc were all in-car.
I've been playing Forza 2 from the lowest viewpoint, i.e the one after the 'super shiney bonnet cam'(tm)
Managed;
Corvette C6 Z06 - 01:00.538
Porsche 997 T - 01:01.946
Both with only ABS to help on a wireless pad! That Corvette is one hell of a handful!!

LOL
Just ordered my copy of the game today. Can't wait to get stuck into the career mode to get money in the bank. The auction for rare cars looks like it will be much better than the TUD fiasco

Yep, it's looking good. Had mine pre-ordered for a while now. Hopefully the online racing (car clubs etc) will be good as well. They look promising on paper

The online racing experience is the best out there *PROVIDED* you don't get a session full of arseholes that ram you off the road in the first corner. If you get a group of people whose honest intention it is to race, you don't mind the odd bump/mistake.

Can't wait for the full game, to get some decent online races sorted as well would be good!
Shame the TDU ones never seemed to happen
