Has anyone traded in their points for one of the Experience Days from Virgin?
I have 33,000 points and was wondering if the days were any good. Was specifically thinking of the Rally Day.

just found this on there site
Shell pluspoints has changed to the Shell Drivers Club
We asked you what you wanted from a loyalty scheme. And we listened. That’s why we have changed
Shell pluspoints to the new Shell Drivers' Club. To collect points, all you have to do is swipe the new
Shell Drivers’ Club card every time you fill up. If you have a Shell V-Power Club card, you can continue
using it to keep enjoying rewards.
Look out for your new Shell Drivers' Club Card in the post - we recommend you don't pick up a card at a
Shell Service Station as we have already registered a new Shell Drivers’ Club account for you.
You can redeem your existing pluspoints for vouchers to use at Shell Service Stations, AIRMILES, vouchers
for your favourite high street stores, an exclusive range of luxury gifts and charitable donations up until
midnight on 23rd June 2007.

I inherited my dad's Pluspoints....I kid you not, I told them he was dead, they ask for proof and after that they transferred the points to me! ![EEK!](images/smilies/eek.gif)
But Shhh, I didn't declare that to Gordon Brown, don't want him to have my 40%![Wink](images/smilies/wink.gif)
They have now been tranferred to Drivers points to do as I please

What an effing joke this is. My statement is telling me I have 32,925 points at 11 May and on phoning to find my overall total for redemption they advise me that I have, wait for it, 32,925
but I do have 592 points in my new Drivers Club
Wish I could understand what was going on.
Is it me or are their web pages particularly unhelpful when it comes to trying to make a decision?

It's not just the web pages the customer service is dire as well, don't expect any kind of help from them via their web form unless you are going to be prepared to provide information down to your inside leg measurement about yourself.
It taken nearly two months to get to the point where they have said they can not help me unless I provide them with my DOB via email, which I didn't want to provide in an open email that contained my name, address, V-power account number, telephone number... I tend to be a bit careful with how much info I provide via one means to one place... especially when that place is no doubt in india.
I wouldn't mind but it's not like I'm trying to get any potentially harmfull info from them, all I want is to be credited for a few purchases I made (that I have receipts for), and also V-Power Club Card, as they have never actually sent me one despite being in the V-Power Club. Also the originating email was sent from their form on their website whilst being logged in.

I logged two requests, one via e-mail and the other by the website form.
All I wanted to know was would I be better off redeming my old points or let them be converted.
I had a reply to the webform today - it must be 3 or 4 weeks since I asked. Just like swampster, they've not answered my question but want to know DOB, club number etc etc
I don't know why, as I've told them my point totals. Rubbish!

Just ordered the Rally Experience, High Speed Drive (hopefully be able to take them on the same day at Silverstone) plus two £10 Boots Vouchers.
....and I've still got over 6 hours left - plenty of time!!
Wonder if the rally experience will be in a really fast car - like an Impreza
