Yes in fact I got c360bhp at Powerstation and still going strong (they commented on how good it was)...... Oh ok then you twisted my arm I'll give you the full mod list (all with no internal engine change)
As well as the above I have the AP 355 discs
2) fer d2500 pads and braided hoses
3) Have made the water spray auto with adjustable settings
4) Have the Tein EDFC (electronic damping) so I can change the rear and front suspension within 3 seconds all from inside the car
5) I went to Noisekiller and had sound proofing done (I can sing the praise of how good this is). It actually kills a lot of the vibration you feel through the floor so it feels as if you've softened the suspension. All for about £230 if I remember (fitted)
6) double din pioneer unit with speakers and sub with ipod connection
7) Alarm is the Clifford Avantgarde 5.5!!! Awesome (remote start, anti jack, etc)
8) Parrot hands free
As you can see from the above it will take something special (thats still driveable on a daily basis) to better the all round ability of this car. Handles well, stops well, goes fantastically, is quiet and not harsh.
I am convinced that if the poster were to put a wanted ad for a max of £18k he would have more choice than he could deal with.

That is impressive. I will be looking at my next car maybe next year but may switch to the dark side to the Evo X (if it gets good reviews). You should be able to get c370 bhp with mapping for v power, exhaust change, etc!!! I'm going to start a new thread as I'm looking to et an extra 10 - 15 bhp without changing the turbo as I want to be able to say the car can do sub 4 seconds (according to letstorquebhp <--- or whatever the website name)

Good Spec C for sale in Classifieds .
You could get an early Powerstation modified Spec C for around that money as well. (Type 20 or 25) Set up more for UK roads.
I saw 2 for sale when I was looking for another Scooby.
I plumped for the P1 instead of a Spec C.

342bhp must of been on a very very very good day then mate, if your saying the exhaust is TOTALLY OE with CATS the lot.
Talking of modding Spec C's..... whilst I was down at PowerStation this week (witnessing my new engine being brought to life for the first time ) it was commented on how many times the ECU has been reprogrammed. FIFTY FIVE TIMES AND COUNTING!

My Spec C with a Miltek (Sports Cat( produced 345bhp at PS with BP 97. The belief is that it would have produced more with VPower but none was available at the time.
Changing from a Sports Cat to a straight through pipe did NOT change maximum power although peak torque did increase.
From memory peak power was around 6,400rpm.

Yep, totally standard exhaust. Zero advance ignition, BP 97RON. I was told they also clutched in early on mine.

Having owned a well sorted spec c from litchfields and wishing i had never sold it i am trying the uk route just for the crack!!

Nescoob1,
This is an interesting read for you. Some differences between the C and the UK as standard cars.
