the original photo on this thread looks like the same breed of dog, don't understand how it got in that state ?????????????
i can see the blood on the spines, but anytime my terriers went near a hedgehog they wouldn't bite it anywhere as they knew the outcome,

as i grew up as a gamekeepers son i lived and breathed nature, we also had upwards of 9 dogs, all working dogs,
and bred some , the secret was in the selection of parents, and non of our dogs suffered with the same problems that you get these days with "pedigree" dogs,
why?????
because breeders see a market, and people have to buy a dog with a pedigree/ designer label, so breeders breed a long line of champions together to get puppies with champion pedigree's,
agh!!!, indoing so, you will find too much of the same blood being breed together,
and so we have dogs with inherent medical problems!!! back to my original statement,

My parents have had dogs from Stan Tweedy in middleton teesdale for many years, hes one of the top and amongst some pf the most trusted breeders in the country
ours want bought for use as a pet, she is worked and very good she is to. Wont be using her to breed with though, her breeding days are about over anyway.
ours also has a very extensive family tree and certaibly if the paper work is to be trusted, the gene pool seems to be far and wide

Your childish "throw them in the canal, etc" comments are what has annoyed people.

Don't you just love Scoobynet....LMAO! No dog is dangerous unless they are treated the wrong way. My friend had a Pitbull that I trusted 110% with my own kids! P.S Loved the comment about the stafs *****. I LMAO when I read that and was exactly what I thought when I saw the pic.
Everyone is entitled to there own opinion and it doesn't make them a ***** for stating it. Their are far more serious matters in this world than a fake pic of a English Bull Terrier.....like what they have done to the new Impreza!
