15k car, what would you get?
#32
I think I've said this for pretty much every 'which car' thread I've posted on... but here goes again!
BMW Z3M. 15k would get you one with 30-40k on the clock, which isn't bad for an M series BMW.
For 15k I wouldn't personally go for anything with a 0-60 time of over 6 seconds... But that's just me.

The Z3M is much more practical, faster and should keep its money. They have all the toys and are silent to drive in 'normal' mode, the engine only sounds loud when they are booted!!

[QUOTE=MarkWRX;6926732]Depending on how adventurous/mad you are here's some alternative suggestions to your average FWD hatch:
Z3M Coupe - BMW : BMW Z3M Coupe
This one for me, classless classic already!

Ive had all sorts, S2000 / Evo 8 / STi / WRX / UK spec scoob / DC2 / DC5 etc etc, all as daily drivers.
Ask away
But Cyber's car must be bloody awesome.
Im currently on a blue DC5 and really enjoying it.
If I had the choice I would still have my Evo 8 back but the DC5 is truly excellent.
Re the 3 series and Focus - have a word with yourself man! Dull dull dull

Ha, jesus I dunno?
The DC5's dont look too bad do they and although the white ones look nice I don't know if a white car is me, if you know what i mean?
Bang for buck i'm having a hard time bettering a JDM Scoob really. I mean for what some other cars cost I could get a 2003-2004 JDM model so not too old, within my price range, around 30-40k on the clock and maybe a few extra mods here and there and for the money it's hard to beat im thinking?
Never been in an EVO but not sure if I would find it too expensive to run?

10k service intervals by Honda dealer (as per CTR) and they do service them.
Im getting 320 miles from a £45 fill up and used to get 220 from the Evo.
Really pleased with it, and its actually very fast on the move.

Doesnt need 4wd or a turbo - drive one
I dont think it will be far off a P1. Power at the wheels wont be far off, plus it only weights 1170 Kg.
The grip is phenominal!
