PMSL @ the chopper incedent.
Basically i thought id fly it outside as it was a clam evening. All was going really well until i started climbing.
Higher and higher she went until the very slightest of breezes caught it. Before i knew it it was out of range and the failsafe shut it down.
Unfortunately for the chopper it was 50 odd feet in the air when it decided to shut down.
The body is funked along with the skids and the inner/outter shafts. Also suffered a burnt out motor from landing in the corn field next door.
Tiny and I scrabbled over barbed wire and through about 50 feet of field before we found it.
Time for a rebuild i feel
On another note.. the REVO is even better than i said it was.
I think Tiny is ever so slightly happy with it

Maybe the Rustler might be a better choice. Bit slower (still 50mph+ ) but apparently easier to handle.
Just a thought........these things can do some serious damage to people and property if they go out of control!
TRAXXAS NItro Rustler
Rustler - Skill level = 3
Jato - Skill level = 5

Quote from the Traxxas website:
"Traxxas engineers couldn’t resist. Combine the Jato with the Extreme Power of the TRX® 3.3 Racing Engine, a wheelie bar, and grippy new Ananconda treads, and you get the ultimate real-world street fighter. Jato 3.3. It’s faster than typical on-road cars, yet when the pavement turns to dirt, Jato 3.3 keeps going. In a word, it’s brutal, on or off-road. 0-60mph in 4.2 seconds. Top speed 65+mph. 2nd gear wheelies? No problem! Jato 3.3 is only for expert drivers who want to put their skills and experience to the test"

Got a new shell for my Savage today, a Hummer
Only problem is that it's made from glass fibre, so will have to be a bit careful with it, though I got it for £5 on fleabay so not so bad if it only lasts a few runs. (though I'm not going to try halfpipes, eh John)
I think it's needs a respray, so any suggestions on a colour scheme?
