A knocklink is a device that detects engine pre-ignition, also known as knocking, pinking and detonation. Your car, if standard, will be mapped for 100ron fuel. The highest we can get here is vpower (99ron). Basically, if you constantly rag your car, get knocklink (£150) or a Remap (£800) or ideally, both.

Nope but we know it's not a sexy lady. Even if it is a lady any bird on the net who calls herself sexy and has loads of XXX's in her username turns out to be some 18 stone heffer with facial hair and you'd have to roll in flour to find the wet patch.

).I do run my baby on V-Power or Super Unleaded. The previous owner told me that I need to as that's what it expects but didn't really question why at the time. Nothing but the best for my beasty anyway.
So the KnockLink (!) thingy detects any pinking and prevents it? Is it like an electronic add on or something. Sounds like I should have one anyway if it's going to protect my baby from going wrong due to nasty English fuel.

Errr, ok, like I said strange lot. I'm much younger than 78 (23), female, and I don't think I'm a saddo. Admittedly a bit geeky at times, but love girly stuff too, and have plenty of friends to go out partying with.
