true. i'm spent out on the impreza but on the rc ![Norty](images/smilies/norty.gif)
took the old rc up to the multi story last night. bear in mind that the fuel i have is as old as the car so about 6 years, put fresh batteries in the handset and the holder for the servos, stuck the glo start on, primed the engine, and it fired on the 3rd pull. and it kept running!
was up there for about 40 mins blasting it round. it really does need setting up though as it's not as fast as it was. to be fair it's not been used for about 3 or 4 years.
i really should get some more fuel. the stuff i have at the moment is duraglow 10. any suggestions for what to get?

Depending on your engine id say a safe limit would be some 20%.
Id stay away from the model technics stuff as its really quite oilly and messy.
Personally after recomendation from John1UK ive been using Byron 25% race fuel. I quite like it and the car seems to perform quite well.
Although TBH mate in your position, any fresh fuel with a 20% nitromethane mix will be fine.
Duraglow 10... funk me thats old.. i even remember that stuff lol.
Bring it to a meet and I dont mind tuning it for you

Yes i've always found the fuel i have very oily and messy. can clean the car up and within minutes it's covered in oil and any muck that it picks up.
Cheers

I'll pick up some fresh fuel and bring it along to the next meet. last night it seemed fine until i'd been using it for about 20 mins. i started practicing some control and it started to get sluggish. never done that before. once i gave it a few blips to full throttle it was ok again.
just blasted it round after that and it was fine.

A friend of mine had a Menace... looked pre-historic build quality.
