lol at all the people who think they are undriveable, and dont handle etc.
Kennyf, I assume is referring to my coupe turbo seeing as he's local to me.
12.88 @ 114mph best quarter I managed in it on it's old spec, its now been fully stripped and boost upped from 16/17psi to 21/22 psi, though the small nitrous kit it had then removed, last time out I was having misfiring issues and poor starts but was still pulling 112mph terminals (forged pistons, cams, rest of internals standard, standard ECU with boost cut removed, standard map, £200 2nd hand turbo from a Pulsar, £50 2nd hand intercooler from a pulsar) etc
Does ok on track as well, here's a vid of it from 2005, at this point it was running 17/18psi boost, back seats removed but rest of interior was present, road tyres on rear, road legal R888 semi-slicks on the front, couldnt go fast round a corner due to the wet conditions and understeer, bit skitty as it came on power, yet still managed to pretty much keep in touch with the scooby, incidenty it's a 310 bhp @ wheels UK300R with GEMS ecu, uprated suspensio etc I'm chasing round, much better throttle response and grip than myself, if you listen you can hear how much earlier he can get on the power than myself and that made the difference, different story if dry I reckon , and now it's notably faster.

excellent cars, and very few cars will match mine £ for £ whats been spent on it including buying the car, on the same day of that vid a Ferrari 355 Spyder got flagged out my way as I was havign to let off not to rear end it on the straights lol.
I had a 2 door STi Type R for 6 months (255 @ wheels) cracking car, a lot of fun and a better all round car than my Rover, notably slower though and it couldnt muster the same grin factor, a lot of that is due to having a long running attatchment with the Rover though I reckon lol.

Must admit loved mine. Had it three years and it never missed a beat.
Getting the power down in the wet from standstill was a nightmare but once rolling was very quick and certainly more than a match for a few UK turbos that were around by me at the time.
Brakes were rubbish though and the handling never did inspire confidence.
Only ever upgraded the induction and exhaust and I thought I'd spent too much on mods............what a laugh. If I'd have spent so little on the two Subarus I've had since I'd have paid the mortgage off.
