Badly maintained cars......well older Jap performance cars are cheap to buy, falling in to the hands of those that can't really afford to run them. These are identifies by lexus lights.
I have carbon rear lexus lights and i choose to own a older scooby rather than a new one. I can afford to run mine thanks.... Dont think lexus lights means you are poor i am a manager for a world wide company and I COULD BUY YOUR CAR 5 TIMES OVER... But my days of german cars have been and gone and i will stick to JAPS thanks....

You could buy my car 5 times over.

Cool.

OK lexus lights doesn't mean you are poor, it just means you simply have no taste what so ever.

If you can't maintain a sense of humour in this game, you need to take some drugs or something. We are not going to be at scoobyshootout, but will be back and better again at silverstone timeattack. Cleaned up the engine bay today, still no clear sign of the cause of the fire, possibly oil line related though. I have a big bottle of T-Cut at the ready, and I think people will be surprised at what the car looks like in a short space of time.

When chavs like you in their clapped out porches go then? you buy ur house for 30k 10 years ago and now you are master of the universe! at least chavs can afford a suburu and not some wnak semi porsche

Knocking stereo types is a real past time on Snet!

It was no different 35 years ago when I was on a Lambretta with a parka and Union Jack helmet.... so live and let live.

So long as nobody threatens anyone else (verbally or physically) then so what?
These are public events, so you get a wide spectrum of people.

I'm amused to have an Impreza I can afford to fool about with and a semi knackered 911 too. (see opposite). I must be on the 'hate' list of several on this thread, but I do NOT have a single item of Subaru or Porsche regailia, so safe on that.

Paul/Zen:

Sure hope that it all works out through the rebuild and you can continue with the pace at Silverstone.
Doubt you will have probs but that you do find the source of the fire.

Graham.

I'm not sure I should respond to such a post, but here goes.

You'll find people like me at the 'ring, and organised track days. IN fact I'm of to the 'ring next Friday to spend time with people who bought their houses 10 years ago and are master of the universe.

My clapped out car has done 500 laps of the ring and still going strong, still got every one of is 294bhp

NSX was for sale on Pistonheads.

Honda : Honda NSX 1991 Manual

Traction and handling are awesome in the dry
Not quite good enough it would seem. Owner did not have track cover.

Apparantly this happened on the first lap, which confirms that on these limited track time events, people try and get their moneys worth rather than slowly build up pace and confidence.

That's the spirit.

I wonder if the guy who owns the NSX is as positive.
