Bob,

Sorry, my mistake as I worded it badly. What I meant by implying that is that quite a bit more as regards to overall driveability can be had out of the car.

Apologies for the confusion.

Regards,
Shaun.

Nothing special Neil, best was 12.11, think I got into idiot mode every one of the last six I did. Was a little nervous I might snap another shaft but no problem there, carrying a spare was the solution !! Should be good if we can get along side.

Shaun for sure thats true, boost control comes out better than any aftermarket controller for me and that includes the AVC-R, well worth the effort on the right car (as yours)

Just mapped a very 'special' one today/tonight and it made ********* on roaddyno !! I repeat, thats on the std, original unopened engine with just bolt-ons

Bob,
That is what I am led to believe.

Andy,
MY02 Spec C!?!?! I thought the actual one I own was the first or second in the country and that is a MY03!

Sounds cool on the car front..... but of course it's keeping it together that counts.

Would be good if you could run yours on the handling as a back up to your main car, you don't want that gearbox casing to go pop,
It will be wicked to see the main car of yours out for its first meeting of the year,
Still think the net should let other cars enter,

Who would not have the business he has now, if it was not for ScoobyNet?

Who is riding on who's back?

Lets do a simple test..... we moderate everything to do with AFP being mentioned / ban your user account etc and see if it affects your business after 6 months?

I'm sure you do not really want to go there do you?!

Regards,
Shaun.

Wouldn't that be classed as discrimination ? the sort of thing you could go to jail for

I'm surprised that you consider customers discussing my input to their cars on here or arranging group buys on their own initiative is, quote - "me riding on your back" ? I would say thats just what happens on a public bulletin board.

Rather than trying to find new victims to extort advertising money from wouldn't you would be better spending your time sorting out misleading claims in your current banner adverts !

Such as "UK's biggest EcuTek mappers" Thats something that no authorised advertiser on here can currently lay claim to.

Andy

Discrimination?!?! You have got to be joking!

My point was proving exactly how you and your business has become so apparant, and what one of the key drivers behind that is. No smoke and mirrors, just a simple fact that you are all too aware of.

We have never had to "extort" money from any past, current or potential advertiser. Most people see the great benefit any given package gives them and is obviously more than willing to pay for that. Many companies have either been initiated or continue to do well and prosper, whether that this directly or indirectly because of ScoobyNet's existance... you also know this.

Regards,
Shaun.

Great result for Steve!

Shaun: Maybe with another 100bhp you might be in the 14s? I'd fancy my chances launching in 2nd and frying the clutch all the way up the strip YouTube - Subaru- Drag racing - what happens when you launch in 2nd

Didnt run on the 1/4. I was stressing enough about the handling. It's not prudent to be running an event and running a car at the same time.

Will get back up to Avon Park as soon as I can though.

Just for info, Dale ran 11.5 in his std internals 2.0 Spec C which I think was the fastest new age time of the day ?

Dale has made some trick custom parts, including a fabricated inlet manifold and custom intercooler. You may have seen it parked up next to us and RCM ?
It runs a GT30R turbo on a twisted up/downpipe, 3" exhaust, 800cc injectors, blow thro maf and an Ecutek remap. The engine is original and unopened.
