Where are the carb settings at the moment? are they in the factory positions?

steve, whip the air filter off and check how far open the carb is (should be about 1mm)

also, i found squirting a bit of fuel in to carb, helps the cappiliary action before the tank gets pressurised. (bit technical for first thing, i know)

To add to that,

If the carb is closing up too much then you can adjust the throttle stop by the small horzontally mounted grub screw on the left had side of the carb body.

Anyway back onto the subject in hand....

Seems to me that not enough fuel is getting through now. You can prime the engine as much as you like and it DONT flood.... carb off time me thinks...

All settings AS factory double/triple checked.... still NOTHING.

Just taken the carb off and found one of the allen screws has stripped its thread.... never touched it myself..

Looks like i will need

Nope the low speed is on the opposite side of the carb, this is like an allen key bung with an O ring fitted, anyway i had enough of trying to get it sorted now, gonna run it to heath's let them sort it....
