Obviously in "Beano" and "Whizzer & Chips" land, itching power, sneezing powder and invisible ink are all obtainable from the local supermarket/newsagent/petrol garage. In reality however, they are rather more diffcult to obtain.
Secondly you need to pre-empt her decision of what underwear to put on. Could be tricky.
Thirdly, even if she doesn't text the number, to say she has an itchy muff, it doesn;t means she hasn't been unfaithful to some extent.
However, if you do decide to follow this course of action, I would suggest using chilli flakes, they are readily obtainable and absolutely work.

Some of the ideas presented here are very funny! 
However, I would suggest that if the trust has disolved to the extent you need to resort to such measures, then it's very likely that the relationship is over, regardless of whether anyone is cheating.
Just not worth the hassle!!

I was set up, and banned for a whole week

Hey guys and girls.
Firstly, I can understand some of the comments made and thanks to all those who put forth their experinces of similar matters.
If I where reading the story from an outsiders point of view then I would also have said dump the bitch and move on but what you lot have to realise is that I have spent the last 3 years of my life with her. I know her better then anyone else and can (most of the time) tell when she is being genuine. I know what she has been through in her life and I know what kind of person she is, how unseccure she can be and mostly how much she loves me.
I didnt go into to much detail about our chat on Sunday but I could tell then from the questions I was asking her that she really does love me back and would never cheat on me ...yes I know.....
Anyway, carrying on from Sunday she had a majorly guilty concience and even if I hadnt read the txt I would have thought something was up because she was so quiet and kept saying how she was afraid I was going to leave her. As I said above she is a very insecure person anyway, (she was really bad three years ago but I have helped her out a lot) so to do something like she did is very out of character. My ex on the other hand, a completely different kind of person and without doubt she would have eventually.. back on track....
I knew that she wouldnt tell me about the texts until I told her I know becuase she would be so afriad that I would leave her, this was eating her up big time. I got home last night before her so I had chance to start on the cider which I thought may help. She got home about half an hour later and I just did the usual hello darling, you ok etc etc. She had some shopping so I let her put that away whilst I sat on the sofa. She came and sat next to me and knew something was up because I couldnt look at her.
I couldnt get the words to come out of my mouth so I went up stairs to check on the computer (downloading torrents). I looked out the window and just thought of everything we had, our life together, our house etc etc and knew that as soon as I started talking to her this could all be over. I started to loose it so pulled myself together and went back down stairs were she was crying quietly.
She asked me what the problem was and again I just couldnt get the words out. Eventually I managed to say "I'm afriad to say anything becuase it may be the end of it all". She was gettting more upset so I just asked her who she was texting on Friday night and not to lie. I was fairly upset myself at this point so she knew what I was talking about. She told me his name and I said that I was really upset by the things she had said to him, how I never thought that she could say that kind of thing to someone else. She was sitting cross legged at this point just crying into her hand repeating 'oh god'.
She kept saying sorry and how she was so ashmed about what she had wirtten, how she wish she hadnt of done it and how much she wanted to tell me but was afraid it would be the end of everything. I asked her if she remembered what she had written to which she replied 'some of it, I cant remember'. I read off a few lines from the messages which made her cry even more. I wanted her to hurt just as I did when I read them.
She kept saying how she had not done anything except send those texts and again how much she regretted it. She said she was so drunk and annoyed with me for staying out that it just went out of control. At one point she was so upset and crying so much she almost had an ashma attack. She hasnt spoke to the bloke since and has no intention of doing anything. She got up and said she was going to pack her things but I stopped her.
I could go on in more detail but I wont bore you all. Basically we talked for another couple of hours, she wasnt bothered that I had read the txts from her phone and said she was glad that I did becuase it was making her feel sick from what she had done and didnt know how to tell me about it.
We have agreed to stay together, but she is on a yellow card and I have told her that if I ever find out that she has done anything is has the intention of doing anything how every small then that would be it. I would cancel all the cards, the bank account etc etc faster then a scooby with an MD321T.
She was crying all night and this morning. I know she is really sorry for what she did and regrets it. She keeps saying how she would understand how if I wanted to leave her. I told her that we need to take it day by day and build up the trust again becuase we are both at fault be it more her than me.
So thats it for now guys, I know some of you will tell me that I have done the wrong thing, how she is only lying again but again I emphasise the fact that I know that girl better than anyone and its a lot easier to give advise when its not you in the situation.
Thanks again for all your comments, it did help me make the decision to confront her which I hope will be the start of a new stage in our lives togher.
P.S Already got my brown wings - took 18 months to talk her into that one, no she doesnt squeal but does make a lot of noise!
