i was running mine in in the street. just to annoy the neighbours across the road as i don;t like them. well that and my garden isn't big enough.

throttle for 2 seconds, ease off, throttle for 2 seconds, ease off. sounded like a pi$$ed off wasp then moved onto 1/2 throttle and 3 seconds...... can't wait till i get to full throttle

Theyre very very user friendly.. especially the Revo. They larger trucks are a real "go anywhere" vehicle. Parts are readilly available too.

Both trucks have easy start systems, although the Revo again is slightly more user friendly due to having the onboard starter motor. The Savage has an opening for an inputshaft from an external starter motor.

The Revo is slightly more low slung with a very nice suspension design and alot more performance orientated. The Savage is built like a brick **** house mate and will take a beating probably slightly more than the Revo. Both are more than fast enough to kep you entertained.

Another nice feature of the Revo is its onboard diagostics. This will automatically shut the engine down should there be any kind of interferance or low battery problem. A sequence of lights will also tell you the fault too.

Personally IMO you cant go wrong with either but id deffo steer clear of the Jato unless youre seriously good on the sticks.

Up to you mate

Feel free to contact me if i can help in any other way. Also might be an idea to come along and have a look/try out some cars and then make a choice.

Well id say its pretty much all done. Im sure i'll find something im not happy with but here is the Jato currently.

Notice the revert back to stock shocks as i prefer the action on these. These are also fitted with some neoprene socks to protec the shock seals.

Also reverted back to stock brakes. Although im unsure as to weather the brakes will need me to go back to carbon pads on the metal disc. Metal pads on metal disc worked awesome but i didnt like the dust that was coming off of them during use.

Addition of a new 7075 lightened aluminium race chassis. Almost all hardware is now stainless steel. I say almost.. some special fasteners had to remain.

Another change is the addition of my KO Propo radio and a small MTronics failsafe. Look how much more room there now is in the receiver tray due to the micro receiver. The receiver is mounted higher up so the majority of my wires could be fitted underneath and out of the way. This does raise the centre of gravity however we're not in race contitions, so for this car.. i dont really care about that much

Enjoy.

Frayz, that looks mint.

i'd invest in some sticky clear book covering plastic from WHSmiths to apply to the underside (wont stop scratches, but will help) also, i dont know if you've seen howm thin the plastic floorpan is just behind the front wheels, some sort of "skid" sumpcover type affair would not go amiss.

thats what i'll be doing with mine.

look forward to seeing it on the strip!!!!

Belive it or not mate i did think of this as i have some spare Armourfend and was going to use that.

However the more i looked at it i realised it would of been a nightmare to cut around boltholes etc so i decided against it in the end.
