Velineon from Traxxas.

3.5 Brushless electric setup from Traxxas in a RTR format.

Stampede VXL is clocking in over 70mph out of the box.

I noticed they aren't that fast "out-of-the-box". They require a few hop-ups to get them to the top speed.

lol at last night.....

spent most of the circuit cartwheeling around!!!!!

or on the roof...!!!

need to deffo do something with the jato steering.

Its so much better racing a circuit then just hooning around aimlessly. cant wait till the next race meet.

cheers tiny for the loan of the wheelie bar.

also thx to Frayz for setting up the Power Kite. - Helene cant wait to get out with it. lol

until the next time....

LOL @ team roof racing.

You need a proper wheelie bar mate. Get the stocker.. its the best by a mile i think.

Also need to look at ways to improve "Turn-in" on grass. Which i think is primarily geting the weight forward. Yesterday was a perfect example that balance and suspension are everything when on a race track. Just by keeping the truck smooth and balanced i could get round quicker with the higher, heavier, and underpowered REVO compared to the jatos.

I think if you soften your suspension by running some pinks on the rear and greens on the front you have alot more control.

Will also help to contol those on power wheelies due to allowing the rear to compress slightly more. A slight raise in rear ride height will also help weight transfer to the front.

We need to get em dialed in mate

Anyone wanting to know how their tuned pipe works on their nitro car. Ive found a nice little animation for you.

How tuned pipe length effects engine performance.

Carbon chassis anyone?

I cant speak for its strength.. but may be lighter than the stock chassis. Almost certain it wont be lighter than the race chassis but a nice bit of kit either way
