LOL couldn't agree more. Be a man about it. You got away with it for three years, now you're busted. Whether other people do the same thing and get away with it, or different offences seem to be committed with impunity are two entirely different arguments.

If you really want someone to blame, blame the DVLA for knowingly selling registrations that can ONLY make sense if they are mis-spaced or numbers are malformed, yet they charge more for these registrations because they don't want to miss out on the profit that a private reseller could make on them. DVLA are the hypocrites here, not the police.

mine even failed the mot on wrong sized letters this year first time in 4 years
