Nice car mate. How did you manage to squeeze 19" alloys onto a classic?

The ScoobyNet Spec C is currently at 510bhp / 500lbft. More mods being done over the coming month or so.... expect the "Stage 3" detailed article to be published in the next couple of months.

Can you lower the starting BHP to 395????

It may do 400 on someone's RR, but I think its unlikely as I only have a little Turbo.....

Terminator,
I don't "expect" it to blow as it has all been built for power and reliability (over £20k has been ploughed in to the car since Stage 3 started in Feb 2007), but as with anything at this type of level you have to consider that things can / do break. Remember this car is built to be used for track and competition, so we are all too aware of risks this carrys. Specing a drive in, drive out solution for a road car can be much cheaper than specing a solution for a track / competition car (anxillaries alone).

Never say never..... but (if you can - i.e. afford it) make all possible measures to ensure things are the done to limit such possibilities.
