What's all this bollox that speeding = criminal offence?

OK I know that the definition of criminal means anyone who breaks the law, but in practice??

If it was a 'real' criminal offence then everyone who speeds would be practically unemployable as a result.

I don't know about you lot but when I apply for a job I don't list speeding offences in my criminal disclosure form.

Demanding money with menaces, now that's a criminal offence.

Decause everyone does speed and almost all drivers have 3 points or more. The offence in most peoples/companies/insurance comp eyes is a transgression of the law. But speeding is breaking the law and carries a criminal sanction, so equal rights must apply across all criminal offences.
