Most memorable memory?
Tough one - I have quite a few ..... one thing they have in common is that they didn't cost very much at all.
Most were un-planned .... they just happened.
If I can pass on anything of worth, it would be this:-
What will you wish you had done whilst laid on your death bed breathing in your last moments on earth?
Will you wish that you had worked that extra weekend for that extra £1000?
Will you wish you had worked away from home for longer?
Will you wish you had worked harder and worried more about a task at work?
Will you wish you had spent hours and hours making your house spotless?
Will you wish that you were rich in material things?
Or, as is actually the case,
Will you wish you had spent less time at work?
Will you wish you had spent that Saturday getting up early and taking your child fishing as the mist rises from the river?
Will you wish that you lived in a home instead of a show-house and spent the extra time walking through the woods on an Autumn evening?
Will you wish you got together with the family just one more time than you did?
Will you wish that you had taken the family camping in the UK instead of dragging them through airports and sitting by the hotel pool for 2 weeks?
Will you wish that you could live for just one more day? When, in fact, you sold days of your life to work ............. now, as you die, that money sits unused in some savings account - the one you set up for a rainy day?
Dance like no-one is watching ...........

Happy birthday Pete.
I havn't read all this lot except the bit # 31 above.
Oh so true.
I'm a tad younger than you at 55 wondering if work changes will finish me off by 56th year.
I've done about 50% of that list i am so happy to 'report'.
Wise wise words from you again!
Good luck!
Graham

Nope!
Nothing so grand at all.
Taken at my car club's hillclimb, Loton Park, close to Shrewsbury.
Barely use it at all now, but got it out for a nice 'classic' run to a clubbie meeting there in late May this year.
Flippin' great car to drive.
Graham.
