Revved the car up to 7200rpm in 3rd on Select monitor and to 6000 in 4th. Ignition advance numbers mean little to me but Dave Brown at AWD said they were fine. No knocking at all Also tested on part throttle and at the bottom end. This was running 18PSI with about 15 from the Dawes and 3 from the bleed valve. So I am leaving it like that.
Certainly out today it does not feel short of top end Makes me happier to run it at 18PSI as well.
Now where do I buy octane booster ? AWD had run out of Millers.
Dave also said that the PPP ECU controls fuelling, timing and boost more accurately than the standard ECU. The first two help me, the last doesn't.
Maybe I'll keep the Prodrive ECU then

thats great john,
once I fit mine I may get AWD to put it on the select monitor just to make sure, what did they charge?it is also good to see that the PPP ECU has justified itself too .
why did you stop at 6000rpm in 4th .
