LMAO, certainly looks like a club I would be avoiding anyway. Look at all the grebs on the gallery section, you really believe thats a nice place to visit?

Nowt much you can do with hair pulls, instinct tells you to pull away but do the opposite.
If the pull is near the head, lock the hand against you head and try using a knuckle in the back of their hand to release the grip.
If its a ponytail, generally the thumb will be located upwards, locate their wrist and pull towards you, find the thumb and try to release this pulling hard enough to potentially force it back and again releasing the grip.
Might work, might not

Oh btw, you want to get out of being pulled by the hair, apart from avoiding the situation in the first place try a swift kick to the shins, they wont be expecting it and unless theyve just finished a game of football it'll hurt them enough to let go.

You need to find a better establishment/crowd mate. Quite unusual to find trouble makers in Heavy metal crowds; you don't tend to get the chav element that want to punch anything that moves after 5 pints of Stella! In fact, some of the most pleasant nights out I've ever had down the pub have been with metal fans; fighting just isn't on their agenda.
On the very rare occassion I go to a club or somewhere renowned for playing dance music, there is invariably trouble (not involving me I might add!): probably because of the increased competition created by the "pulling" element!

usually its very rare to see fights in the heavy metal nights. Thats why I go out on them. Usually its chav element that causes problems on these nights. I was once attacked by 4 chavs a couple of years back so took up judo and wing chun. The lass who hit me a few months back (which i reported to the police) threw a pint over one of my friends for her choice of colour scheme. Very odd person :-S
Im thinking if I can get hold of the wrist and push my fingers into the soft centre part they may let go. Hmmmm. tis drinking night tonight. Might have to lay these fools out if they persist with their actions agen me.

Poor Guy ,I was thinking ,is this not a term of affection in Doncaster .
Maybe you misunderstood her intentions .Sounds like she was ready for riding you like a bucking Bronco.
You didnt notice a big strap on then ???
Looks like you missed out on a good night there !!!!!!!!

lol!
tonight maybe interesting. If I get any of this shizz tonight Im gunna be quite annoyed I think. I never go to town looking for a fight. If my mates get into fights then thats fine, ill stand away so long as its an even fight. I could pick loads of fights I know I could win easily, but I dont because whats the point.
I go out for a good time, drinks and laughs with some mates. And then I get some crazy little girls wanting a brawl their boyfriends would back away from, just because theyre girls and you arent supposed to hit girls.
Theyve had some free hits and more than their share of my resiliant ways.
Tis time for a proper match if they want to persist.

I have to say it cant be pleasant going out with this on your mind ,but try to relax and enjoy yourself .
If trouble happens you sound as though you can deal with it so ,just chill and it probably wont happen.
Enjoy ur night.

Ive been a doorman but also a zero tolerance patron of a drinking establishment and the only way to avoid instances like that would be to not go to places like that.
When you enter places where drink is consumed you enter at you own risk and will remove any chance of reasoning with any person wanting to punch your lights out.
Either get stuck in or walk away!

Weird, I agree with post 37 - I spent a lot of time in / around Rock City in Nottm plus other various rock nights around the town and the only time there was trouble was when a gang of townies got past the bouncers to start a fight at (what was) The Zone. Bouncers regrouped and townies got a speedy exit.
What was funny was my parents didn't like the kind of people at rock clubs yet let my brother go to 'trendy' clubs where there were nightly fights!!!!!!!!!
