Your eager

Like i said if we order with just 5 motors it will work out a little higher as the GB was based on 10 units sold. I will confirm the pricing on five motors and if people are happy with the price then we can order.

Might be interested in a stage 2 motor, but would like to know if the pistons are individually suited to the bores, as they are known to be a bit "different" to one another.

i emailed axis about the same thing, he told me he matches the pistons to the bores, his reply:

What I do is measure each bore and then I find the piston that best suits that bore. I usually have about 50 pistons at any time to choose from.

No need to hone the bore if I can find the right size piston to fit.

I can get the piston to wall clearance within .0005", which is more than acceptable for CP pistons.

Ok been in contact with Ron regarding the prices on 5 motors instead of the original 10. The first thing is that as of the 1st of July Subaru have put the 2.5usdm motors up by $150 aprox £75 on top of this we have the additional cost for not making the numbers up to 10 so its looking like its costing a bit more than first thought.

Here are the updated prices based on 5 motors.

1x Stage 3 =£2551 Inc shipping and delivery
4x stage 2 =£1531 Inc shipping and delivery

So long as we get the 5 deal as a bare minimum.....I'm still in!

That being said, I'm off to Chicago, Illinois in September ( 2 hours drive from Ron's work) so I'll probably drive to Ron's place and have a face-to-face chat about the prices, etc

No worries you are one of the fiive hence the question, Not sure about waiting untill spetember i now a couple of people here wanted these asap so we would want to get orders in to axis in the next week and they can have there motors sooner. If the prices are a concern please feel free to email ron you will find the prices quoted above are the same.
