believe me it did get to 160mph - one hand off the wheel, so my girlfriend could take the picture 
it was done on a private road of course!!
Longest road in jersey is the st.ouens five mile road - u could hit 160 in less than 3miles i reckon!

MY97 UK Wagon, standard apart from decat 'zorst showed an indicated 151mph in Belgium on the way back from the 'ring... video proven too 
Been in a 22b doing over 160mph, somewhere in the UK
but thats another story ... heheheehe

Took my MY01 round a high speed test circuit recently. With two of us in the front seats it topped out consistently at an indicated 155mph over 3 runs. It reached top speed pretty quickly but was reluctant to go beyond, I guess aerodynamics play a pretty key part here.
The car has been PPP'd and breathes out via the wonderful Scoobysport decatted exhaust. It has done around 12K so the engine is reasonably loose now.
