And how bad was Tom Jones? What the hell did he do to that Artic Monkeys song? I think I heard him say afterwards that his was more of a dance version - no Tom, it was just dire crap.

Personally I thought Roger Hodgson (Supertramp) was excellent - especially when he got into "Give a Little Bit" 
Though I'm sure there were plenty of kids out there complaining about his cover version of Breakfast in America....
