Neanderthal - if you click on the left (?) bumper button to bring up damage, the tyres will start to go yellow > orange > red when they're past it.

I thought that was just telling you the temperature of them?
Do rolling burn outs etc and the rear tyres will quickly go red, stop for a few seconds and they'll go green again.

press it once for damage, twice for the tyre temp. When the tryes are worn they will show up as damaged.
It was a factor for me in the nurburgring endurance event - I hed the fuel to last 3 laps but the tyres would only last 2...

It's easy to tell which is which as well. The termperature diagram has a big thermometer in the middle of it. The damage one doesn't

but i have been playing LFS for about 2/3 years and spent whole days off work going around the same track trying to get a faster time

Real life tracks are designed by experts, and refined over the years, and make for great racing. Made up tracks are designed by programmers, and are generally ****e.
I appreciate your point, I would like to see some more real life tracks on there, but certainly not a load of rubbish made up ones..
