These always used to go together well, I was about ten years old when my parents used to let me cycle from Parkstone to Bournemouth to spend all night fishing from the pier, on my own. Can't see that happening today somehow
And all for a few mesely Pout

My BSA air rifle, spending my summer hols in the forest shooting tin cans and building dens with my mates. Not something you could do today sadly.
After that, corgi toy cars and also Super Mario on the NES.

I used to have an orange chopper, a proper one not one of the crappy re-issues
It stood up to many years of abuse from me and my mates and never once let us down
I came home from Uni one weekend to find it gone, my mum had thrown it away because she decided I'd outgrown it
Every now and again, when she's really p!ssing me off, I emil links to ebay auctions just to remind her
Mum was always really good at giving me and my sister lectures about looking after stuff because one day it'll be worth something. Trouble is, she was a crap judge, al the stuff that would be worth something now, she either gave or threw away years ago

Does anyone remember the car which was battery powered and would slowly go across water by extending "tiger type claws" from the wheels?
Its been bugging me for ages!

I had a Schuco single seater racer with knock off wheels and a gearstick with four speeds and fully functioning steering. Wish I still had it.
My mother chucked it out when I went off to Canada to do my training for 18 months!
