Fastest I've driven would be a Ferrari 355 Berlinetta (395bhp). Fastest I've sat in was a Koenesigg for sure......... but it was just a seat in it, no driving, etc awesome car, even sitting still.

I probably need to drive some of these light weight caterhams or westfields to feel what is genuinely quick, but I'm probably too big to fit in one.
How big is big? The guy i bought a SEiW Westfield from was at least 6'2 and a self confessed 'fat bastid' You might affect the PTW though!

quickest car I have been in full stop was a Dodge Viper that my tuner has in at the moment. No idea on the full spec, all I know is that the BE etc had been done, usual breathing mods and a huge rotrex super charger... 840+bhp at the rear wheels... It was in for the addition of a turbo (still keeping the charger). It was so fast I blacked out and almost threw up when I got out, and now he wants to take me out in a Caterham CSR... might give it a miss... lol

I used to work for NNT (Japanese BT equivilent) in Tokyo, Mr Tanaka our CEO was very friiendly with the CEO of Honda, how could I resist a test drive of a protype.

Honest, I have some pictures.

Made a (Bad Man's Wagon) M3 seem very slow.

I was out the other day in a friends car, its on the cover of fast ford this month.

Its a Mk3 Escort with cossie runnin gear and its probably the loudest, most uncomfortable assault on the senses you can imagine!!!

Easily 500bhp with more to come, in such a lightweight shell, its scary!!

Fast Ford

That would be my own scooby I guess with 0-160 in 9.1sec and 210.2 max within the confines of 1.5 miles.

Just been out testing a new turbo set up and 70-130 in 3rd gear was 2.4 seconds. Traction was an issue throughout though

Would you believe I don't really enjoy driving it anymore scares the sheeeet out of me

Dodge Viper 1997 GTS Coupe. I rented one out ($500 a day since you ask)with the girlfriend when we were in Hawaii a couple of years ago. Blue with silver stripes. Sexiest car ever built in my opinion, always wanted to drive one. Couldnt give it too much stick cos the roads on Oahu weren`t great, plus i didnt want to crash it! Loads of torque once it was cruising though. After all, it was an 8 litre V10. Bit of a pig to drive if Im honest, gearbox like a lorry, and a pain to get in and out of. My girlfriend still has a burn scar on her leg from where the exhausts run down the side of the doors. Still, a legend of a car.

Mate Neil owned a sapphire RWD cosworth 420hp/450lbft which I was lucky to drive a few times - that was fast up to 180mph!!!!

Then earlier this year:

Lambo Gallardo with Ti exhausts
Carrera 996 Turbo S Cab

Both very quick

Still prefer my STI06 PPP for all round fun and normal driving styles

Good thread - got me thinking of some good times (and some bad!) over the years:

Callibra V6
Vectra V6 SRi
Mitsubishi 3000GT (Euro version of GTO)
Porsche Turbo - test drive only
Lotus Elise - track day
Dodge Viper (old shape) - track day
F355 Berlinetta

then the quicker stuff

501BHP 2.5L Scoob
F360 Challenge Stradale
F430 F1

BUT the fastest of them all, a 1995 Larouse Formula 1 car
