Thanks again for all the comments
Mark, Sonic dog is looking really well, a credit to you all![Thumb](images/smilies/thumb.gif)
I have only just finished cleaning the conservatory, I really couldnt face doing it last night, I could barely go in there
It really was like an abbotior![Frown](images/smilies/frown.gif)
Scooby has gone in there, and sort of snuffled a bit, he went outside and snuffled a bit more, he must still be able to smell the blood, or it is making him remember sunday evening, and monday morning
I am slighlty concerned at his nasal reactions in there and outside, as he hasnt really done that in the house, and its a little like what he was doing before the bleeding started
I just hope he will be ok tonight, and have a reasonably comfortable night
I think I will take him for a short walk in a bit to see how he is, but I am a bit worried his excess sniffing outside my trigger another bleed, they did say at the emergency vets that his nose bled a little when taking him for a walk

I just took him for a walk, and he has been fine, came back had a big drink of water, and now plonked himself down in lard position once again ![Smile](images/smilies/smile.gif)
Its quite difficult to check on his nose, as he isnt too keen on me touching him there at the moment, I guess it is still very tender from the Vet looking down it so much, but he is having the occasional runny nose, with some slight bubbling
As long as it isnt bleeding or starts bleeding, that is our main concern at the moment and that he has a reasonable nights rest

Not really Fuzz
They advise with nose bleeds not to tip the dogs head back, as this makes it run down the back of his throat
dabbing his nose with a tissue it shows as a slight yellowey colour
He has finally been outside and done a turd, and it is solid black, normal looking in texture etc but as black as coal
The vet asked this earlier as it is a strong indication of blood
but the other vet reported that the big one he did there today was normal, all his previous ones have been normal too
I will report it to the vet in the morning, as i dont know what food they gave him, as its bound to be very different to what he normally has, and he has had a distressing few days and a stomach full of blood, so it may well be remnants that he didnt bring up, but then that wouldnt explain the earlier one today being normal
Ive put him to bed now, but he isnt a happy bunny, he is giving me funny looks as I think he needs some company, but I have to go to bed too

if he did normal poos before it could be that the bloody poo has only just come through. the next one will prolly be ok

I've been following this thread too. I feel for your heartache you've had over the last couple of days and am glad he's looking well.
How is he this morning?

Just a quick update before I go off to the vets
He looks like he has been ok through the night, his nose was a little crusty, much like a young kid who cant blow their nose after it has been runny for a while
He has done another log, and only the tip of it is black the rest is normal, so it probably is just the remnants from his stomach

I'm so glad he seems ok ![Luxhello](images/smilies/luxhello.gif)
How on earth do you all manage to take pics of your dogs? My Scooby jumps up as soon as she sees a camera. Anyway she sends her best wishes to poorly Scooby and says if you ever fancy sharing a treat to give her a nod
![Big Grin](images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
She likes your name BTW

I've got control over my dogs
![Stick Out Tongue](images/smilies/tongue.gif)
Only kidding!! My Lab's such a lazy barstool, he couldn't be ar$ed to get off his sofa
However, I did have some treats in my hand
The pup's a little bit harder to control, but that will come ![Smile](images/smilies/smile.gif)
It also helps to be VERY quick with the camera!!![EEK!](images/smilies/eek.gif)

She tries to lick the camera too, in fact she tries to lick anything she's not sure of. We have a moisture activated flood alarm and she licked that and set it off, she didn't half jump

Great news!!!
Had feared the worst.
Our lab is about to have her first week on kennels - we were a bit fussy (looked at a couple that looked like prisons!) and so think she'll be fine but will miss her.

Been to the Vets this morning
And he confirmed that the stools are ok, and that it was to be expected
He still hasnt had any results back yet and could be friday for the swabs, and early next week for the Aspergillosis results
He told us that he only charged us 1 unit (5 mins) whilst under GA, and that he spent 40 mins with Scooby during that time, as he knows we are struggling a bit with the costs, as the original estimate was 300, and last night it was sat at 500
He gave him another Vitiamin K injection this morning, and gave us some Antibiotics to start him on from tomorrow
He said there may be a possibility that it could be bacterial
He also said that if it isn't Aspergillosis, then he will try and see what he can do regarding an Endoscope, as he said if he refer's it will be incredibly expensive, so he will try and think of a way round it
Aspergillosis treament is minimum a grand, roughly 8 quid a day for the tablets etc
But as a number of you have suggested if tablet form, there may be a cheaper option getting the prescription from them and buying the tablets elsewhere

Matteboy, you're not the only one ![EEK!](images/smilies/eek.gif)
It really did not look good at all on Monday, today he's being a right pain in the ***![Lol1](images/smilies/lol1.gif)
Vet mentioned the possibility of it being bacterial, fingers crossed as the antibiotics we have been giiven for the meantime should help clear it up, we're likely not to get the aspergillosis results back until the end of the week or beginning of next week, I am hoping they will be negative and it is a simply treatable bacterial infection![Smile](images/smilies/smile.gif)
Thanks again everyone for all your posts and best wishes, it has really helped and is very much appreciated

Thanks all once again
It isn't over yet, but things are looking ok for the time being
He has been a bit lethargic today, and I dont think he has been out to do any business yet![EEK!](images/smilies/eek.gif)
It maybe the injection he had this morning, and tomorrow we start him on the Anti-Biotics, and hopefully they will help somewhat

Them's gorgeous dogs ^ ![Big Grin](images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
Chopper, don't worry about it LOL, it's not easy getting them to keep still![Big Grin](images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
After his burst of energy yesterday morning, he went VERY quiet towards and during the afternoon and rest ot the night![Frown](images/smilies/frown.gif)
Went into him this morning and he was asleep, lifted his head and looked at me with drowsy eyes and a very lazy wag of the tail
I opened the door to let him out but he didn't budge and only got off the table he sleeps on (don't ask LOL) when I walked back into the house. I gave ihm his tablets which he took well, and gave him a bowl of water, he's managed about half and not wuite half the bowl of food I gave him, but at least he made a start on it. He still as yet has not been out for business, the door's open but he's lying in here near me instead. Every now and then he's getting up and licking his snotty nose then lying back down again, he doesn't seem to want to do anything else
He has sneezed once, but I don't know if it was a general sneeze or related to this ![Ponder2](images/smilies/ponder2.gif)
He keeps looking at me with his head down a bit and sad eyes, when I speak to him he's not wagging his tail much either, he does wag but it's a very halgf hearted attempt
He looks really down
