Just before I go to bed...
a huge thank you to everyone again, you have made Scooby's op and treatment possible and he is having it done on Thursday
Now we just need him to make a speedy recovery post op He is young, so I am hoping that will go in his favour for bouncing back Fingers crossed and thanks again to all of you

Steve / Donna.
Been trying to contribute but been getting an invalid email address with paypal.
Is it steve lunt2003@yahoo.co.uk (with a space as you posted)
or stevelunt2003@yahoo.co.uk (which makes more sense)

I have only just got on and seen this thread!!!
How amazing are all of you?!!!!!
Those two little words "THANK YOU" just don't seem enough somehow considering how generous everyone has been, you should all, each and every one of you be very proud of yourselves.
Scooby is going in tonight and having the op tomorrow, until we have spoken to the specialist who will be performing the procedure, we don't know which method he has opted for... so he could end up having his head drilled and tubes put in We were shocked as we expected him to have the full 8 - 10 week course of tablets before a procedure was considered, but because of his bleeding etc the vet said it's pointless wasting time with the tablets as they are so slow to work and probably would fail and said the sooner they can get him booked in for the procedure, the better, so it has all moved so fast
Scooby has to do his part now and cope well during and after the procedure and recover well, there is a posibility of him needing some medication afterwards, but we don't know what just yet, it depends on him, he will be firmly told that he HAS to make a full recovery now after everyone being so kind, thoughtful and generous both in words of support (which really did help us through last week when times were really bad) and through the donations, we really would not have been able to go this far with the treatment without any of you and grateful doesn't come close to how we feel!!
Once he goes in tonight, I will be karking it until he's back home on Friday! We will, however keep things updated so you all know what happens as soon as we know anything
Thanks again everyone, I can't say it enough!! XXX

Steve, Donna, I'm in the same boat as SJ above, I've just come back from a few days away and so only just seen this. I'd just like to say how heartened I am by the generosity shown by everyone who has donated to the fund. It restores your faith in human nature doesn't it?

Jamie The target is reached so it would be wrong for us to accept more
We will be on our way very shortly to take Scooby to the specialist place where the procedure will be done

LOL, no
Steve has had to take him on his own because the kids didn't eat their tea fast enough, so weren't ready in time to go
I told him he has to be a good boy and get better VERY quickly

Best of luck to Scooby, hope he pulls through!!
Sorry couldn't donate at the moment.. despite my own mutt sat here looking at me and making me feel guilty.. but I am truly skint
However if the fund needs a top up in a week or so (payday.. can't come soon enough).. to cover any unexpected costs then let us know! I'm sure there's others out there who haven't donated already for one reason or another but are happy to do so when they can. Failing that I can become a SNET member
Anyway, best wishes to you all.. and a bloody well done to the community!
