Ive been up for a while now, set the alarm so I could check on him
He is ok this morning, still a lot of clear fluid, but no more blood, might just have been a small clot last night

Couldn't agree more with your comments Son of Quatto. What amazes me is what kind of people actually want to publicise this stuff on an internet forum with 'constant updates'. ffs we all have our bad moments yet do i really want to keep all you cyber geeks updated every minute about it? This community thing has gone one off the planet simple as
As Roy Walker says i'm just saying what i see. Its only the few minions of sonic who are too blind to see this for what it is lol. Come on lets have another corny dog photo with the caption 'get well scooby'

il openly admit, i just infracted prince popeye for this. i dont think its abuse of the infraction system.
hes trolling with a deliberate malicious intent to wind up/uspet people on this thread.
again re-iterating the point. sonic/d.k.1 have never asked for anything off anyone on here. its the community spirit and friendship that have helped with this poor dogs costs.
your a sad, sad man popeye, for insisting on coming back to the same thread, with the sole intention of pissing people off.
apologies to sonic/d.k.1/webby(s) for this post, and the infraction given to prince popeye. if his post was portrayed in a less vicious way, where the guy simply has a difference of opinion, then fair enough. he, however does not, and insists on be-littling the members on here who have openly helped out, whether it be supportive messages or a financial donation.

Guys
Don't waste your time on losers like this.
I've had to deal with this strange kind of weirdo for a few years now, and realise that its actually just a little bit creepy, not necessarily anything evil. They're mostly just the people who have never been able to be taken seriously in real life, and are just letting steam off on the internet where they think there are no consequences - which means it takes no guts, courage or self respect to put "pen to paper".
Just ignore these weird people, they don't deserve your time, except to click the "ban" button.

I ignore the comments tbh, usually come from people with nothing better to do, or have nothing better to say
Anyway, Scooby is sort of still ok, his nose is still very runny a lot of the time, and he is still snorting and sneezing, so whatever these 'polyps' are they are still causing him a problem, and the steroids don't appear to be reducing things, if anything the problem seems to be getting worse again

You'd be interested in an article in the Sunday Mail colour supplement (YOU Magazine) today page 81.
About a human with a very similar condition and I am sure there are parallels.

Absolutley gutted for you about Pip
Scooby is sort of doing ok, the Steroids aren't doing a thing apart from Scooby is now quite docile hardly barked and doesn't whine as such like he normally does
He is nowhere near as exciteable as he used to be, still slow eating food and drinking water, his coat has gone quite dull too
His nose is pretty much constantly snotting, now with thicker green mucous that doesnt seem to shift
I have spoke with the Vets, and he is due back in on the 4th September, as this is the earliest I could get him in to see his consultant as he is away on holiday this/next week
Since the steroids, Scooby has had one small nose bleed and nothing since, and as per previously if anything changes he is to go straight back in under emergency
Im not entirely sure what will be the next course of treatment, as it is quite clear the steroids arent doing anything for his nose, so something will still have to be done regarding that
Sorry for not posting any updates, but there hasnt really been much to update with really, and its one of things that looks like is going to take some time to sort out

He is still about the same really
He went back to the vets a couple of weeks ago, and he has continued with the steroids for now but down to 2 a day instead of 3 a day
His nose is still pretty much the same, but the vet said that this is now pretty normal and can take some time to clear as there has been a mucuus membrane built up, and this is producing more mucuus hence him still being quite snotty nosed
His main concern is that the bleeding has stopped, and its been a month since the last bit of blood from his nose
He has to go back again in at the beginning of October, where hopefully the mucuus will have stopped enough for him to be signed off the vets and weened off the steroids
