Prince Popeye has been permanently banned.
Hi other account "Son of Quatto" has also been temporarily banned as it is clear that he just used the Prince Popeye account purely for trolling.

You mods are really off the planet. What the hell has this Popeye said thats means a permanent ban???? He's stated his views and immediately the thought police ban him. Honest to god this just shows what a joke this moderating has become.
Personally this 'Save our Scooby' thread should have been closed a lonttime ago as its a one-sided moderated p*sstake simple as.

This is not your website, it's not for you to determine what is and what isn't acceptable. If you have a grievance, articulate it in the appropriate place (i.e. SN policy).
Better still, if you don't like the way SN is moderated, you could, of course, always leave, as frankly the only person taking the pi*s here is you!

In my opinion, it does set a precedent though now that when any respected member of our community (which rules me out ) falls on hard times through no fault of their own that they too can create a thread and expect the same cash/appeal/response though.
I am delighted that the community came together, I have never seen anything like it on a forum, but once it happens once it happens...
I was suprised at how many of my friends with whom I shared this heartwarming story thought the response from the community was preposterous. That said, I have some hard faced mates...

Fact is this guy has a well modded car and then has a cash flow crisis. Surely the car would be sold to fund this? Or other avenues? Instead the thread gets put on here with any form of negative view towards it 'DELETED' or changed. That my friends is not democracy. Its influencing the money train bigtime.
So carry on donating if u must but its about time other people's views stay on here or some of us just think Sonic is one big manipulating trickster. i've seen 10 different users views been wiped out over past few months.

I'm gonna work some overtime to pay for your dogs bills. The mortgage and my kids can simply wait. After all this is what scoobynet is all about. Keep up the good work mods deleting any unwanted publicity about this. Goebbels would give u a

Thought I would do an update on Scooby, as I havent done one in quite a while
Since I last posted about Scooby, he has had minor nose running, but generally been ok, however the last few weeks his nose has deteriorated again, with a lot of heavy muccus, and the last few days a couple of small nose bleeds
Also in that time he has started rubbing himself against the brick in the conservatory and outside on the fence to the point of cutting himself and bleeding and loss of fur around his jowls and eyes, he also seems to gone slightly depressed and seems to be losing weight despite eating and drinking relatively normal but he has started smelling quite strong too
We thought last week the possibility of worms, and have wormed him again as a precaution, we also thought it might have been fleas again, as he is allergic to fleas and last year had to be treated for a flea allergy
He has been back to the Vets today, upon examination the Vet noticed his weight loss (down to 21kg) he aslo had a temperature of 105 but that could have been affected by him being quite excitable in the waiting room
The Vet said it now looks like he has Auto Immune Disease attacking the skin and the nose, so he is going in on Monday morning under general for a biospy (on his nose and skin) & blood tests
It will take about 10 days for the results to come back from the biopsy and in the meantime he has put him on Antibiotics and medicated shampoo to try and ease the irritation to his skin
Here is a pic of him taken this evening, to show in such a short space of time what it has done to his face
One thing that has sprung to mind, is that when he had his brother 'Scrappy' they started fighting quite a lot and he used to (or what we thought) were battle scars around his eyes, and the same when we had Sonic dog, but now looking at him his eyes are the same and he clearly hasn't been dog fighting, so I am wondering if this is something that he has had for quite some time
This Auto Immune Disease seems to reject certain parts of the body, and recognises it as a foreign body so it makes anti-bodies against it (a bit like organ transplants in humans) obvisouly we wont know for sure until the bipopsy results come back

Feel for you mate. Just spend every moment you can with him.
I still get a bit down nearly 3 years after losing my old pup, max.
Got my fingers (and toes) crossed for him.
