If you are looking under the bonnet from the front of the car its by the left (drivers side) inner wing suspension mount. If you have the Sigma alarm fitted its bolted to the inner wing with the siren. Easiest to unbolt the 10mm bolts on the alarm siren bracket and then undo the two 10mm nuts to get access to the solenoid. it has two pipes going into it - one straight and the other is a 90 degree one - pull these off then connect the connectors under the dash im sure its the green ones (you have to lie down face up in the drivers footwell and there are a pair of black connectors and a pair of green ones they just hang down near the steering column). You will know when you have the right ones as when you turn the ignition on (dont start the car though) you will here the solenoid clicking and the fans going on and off. When thats done just trace the pipes off the solenoid back - disconnect and just blow them through. I think you will solve your problem.
