tractors on the road at peak time (RANT)

Most farmers are pretty OK and do pull over to let you past....
I have been known to throw some quality abuse at the one'w who refuse to let you past... and for some reason they always seem to be in the cab with their misses or daughter ...... but I did make one misses cry by telling her fella to let her down so I could "throw my load in her face" ...... happy days

Lot of particularly selfish posts on this thread, especially near the beginning.
Blokes with tractors have to get their day's work done just like anyone else. Most of the ones round here will pull over in a convenient spot to let any traffic behind them go by.

Yeah tractors need to use the roads but causing a two mile tail back is both selfish and dangerous
All they have to do is pull over occasionally to allow the tailback to clear... or are they in such a rush to get where they are going
Only this morning a tractor, who could see me coming at 60 mph, pulled straight onto the road in front of me on a corner a**hole shouldn't be allowed to drive such a vehicle
Some of the tractors around here watch the traffic around them and pull over but just as many seem to deliberately block and anger the other road users. ON one occasion when a police traffic car was in the q, they actually waited for a clear stretch of road, flew past and then made the idiot pull over.... never been so glad to see some proper road policing going on, it should happen more often and would reduce accidents for sure

Trouble is, in heavy traffic, if a tractor keeps stopping, he'll never get to his destination!
Why not just calm down, allow a bit of extra time for journeys and let them get on with it?
Oh I forgot, most people don't live in laid back Cornwall!
