i knew pete back in the day, and he has got progressively worse. dementia i think.
and i know where he lives but we havnt seen his waggon outside for a while?
for someone who does indeed have a hyperthalimus......he chooses not to use it.

P1 was ******* my old STi6 Type R on very straight clear dual carriageway at around mid-night a couple of years back.
He eventually went passed after hesitating a while so I followed. Hovering around the 110 mark we both floored it (him first) then I overtook at around 145... Was close but the gearing of my Type-R took me passed him.
After that he stayed back and wouldn't come near me at the next island. I only wanted to give him a thumbs up but I guess he was worried my passenger was going to get out.

Out accelarated and overtook an 04 911 GT3 in a fair straight line race, wont mention what speed I got up to, but obviously if we kept going he would have caught up and overtake me for top speed.
I slowed right down to give him the but he backed right off.

Donnington Park qualified 3rd ,cloud burst on the grid, stayed on slicks as a hot day, only 2 other cars on slicks ,dropped to 17th on the skating rink, then it started to dry ,picked them off 1 by 1 ,got up to second with 1 lap to go but they cut the race short by 1 lap ,as we had done an extra warm up lap due to qualifying in different conditions, was taking 10 seconds a lap off the winner (on wets) and finished 3 seconds behind him, brilliant race

GTI6 vs Scoob
As above when I had the GTI6 ... !
Driving to Margate (don't ask) at a fair old speed when a Scoob overtakes me. Fairly rare sight back then as this was mid to late 90's. We both then took it in turns to pass each other + countless other cars over a 30min period. Scoob then turned off & we both waved each other away with a smile ... awesome!!

Back roads between Bicester and Stony Stratford for around 5 miles or so.
Not too sure what the bike was, guess 500cc or so, he pulled up behind me and flashed his lights and I bit, I drove out of my skin killed the bike on the bends and corners and he reeled me back in on the straights. I really pushed the scoob to its' and my limits. Finished at a T junction. Bike pulled up next to me I looked over at him as we both let out a sigh, kinda glad it was over, it was a real workout for the pair of us. We said our goodbyes and headed off in different directions.
