B3128 Bristol to Clevedon, 190e 2.3-16 v sapphire cossie, 1989
He had the power but I had the handling and talent
It was ok to do it in those days as there weren't so many cars (or tw ts) on the road

Personally I enjoy knocking chips off shoulders of sports bikes riders, especially as the conversation always comes up between me and my cousin driver vs rider.
Proved my point today when an idiot on a gsxr 1000 decided to cut me up and then pull a wheelie, shame for him it was all show though coz he tried desperatly to outrun me with no luck whatsoever! Those things are only any good on a track.. not british roads!

<<<< Lol just my 2000 turbo.. what I meant as all show was the way that the rider blatantly cut me up and pulled a wheelie then powered off but couldnt outrun me! If it was on a completely even flat minted tarmac racetrack then yeah it would def outrun me but a race was a race and the road surfaces for miles around here are in the favour of a scooby!

Well, there was this one time at Band camp....
Wet kart track: slick tyres:
Find my target up ahead, got along side to make them think your going to overtake, but brake early for the bend and drop back out of harms way....then watch the feejit either brake too late or get on the power too early and bin it Repeat for every other driver on the track.
Went from the back of the grid to 1st place doing that

I like playing with those bikes that pull up alongside you at lights or roundabouts blipping their throttle noisily.
They seem a bit surprised that you can stay with them up to relatively sensible speeds in an "ordinary" 4 door saloon - I don't do big spoilers and things.
It's great fun to sit behind them when pulling away whilst they peer in their mirrors wondering WTF.
Wifey is never amused though.
Best one was pulling onto the A3 from a roundabout under the main road (3 lane dual carriageway) heading towards 3 figures and he was looking in his mirrors all the way up the slip road. We both eased off before it got silly and before he turned off about half a mile up the road, he slowed, looked round and waved.

Has to be the Nurburgring with me in the RB, a 911GT3, a 944 turbo and of all things a calibra got into a group after the karousel and swapped positions right the way to the start finish straight, mainly trying to avoid getting written off by the calibra.
Dodgey moment as the calibra scandinavian flicked it into the mini karosel passing the gt3 mid way round!!

My 205 Mi16 (in the for sale section ) on Brands Hatch Indy Circuit...
Mr Boxster S didn't like the way I was quicker on the straights and the bends..
Mr (guess - 1987) 911 RS wouldn't let me past despite the fact I could turn harder and faster (you're only supposed to overtake on the left once the other person indicates and moves over).
Mr DC2 Type R was louder but quicker...? Not a chance .
Seriously chaps, if you haven't taken your car in track... do it!

Best race I ever had was against the girl next door . It was around 1/2 mile to 3/4 mile in length, from the local petrol station to our houses. She was in a cream 1ltr Vauxhal Nova. I was using my bog standard, red 10 speed raleigh ace. Both at the exit to the petrol station at the same time. I hit the power hard and out accelerated up to my terminal speed of 30 - 36 mph. At the junction she had caught up, but her nova was anable to take the corner at the speed I was able to. Now I new she was in trouble we were in the twisties which meant I was able to use the raleigh aces superior handling to keep the bike at speed. I beat her to the house by around 40ft.
Didn`t get anywere though, obviuosly she was a sore looser.
