I've got a Flexifoil Bullet 2.5 and it's loads of fun, small enough to be fast around the sky, but big enough for some traction fun in high winds, and the build quality is fantastic, if we have a kite meet I'll bring it along for some fun

Garonds park, is a good place, I've seen people flying power kites there before.

You need clean wind, so Ideally no trees or large buildings, around the field

Square meters... still has enough to drag you along and get airborne in high winds, but fast enough around the sky to be fun aswell, the bigger kits tend to have loads of power but be quite slow

Your more then welcome to have a go mate

My mate had a Super 10, it got nicked he replaced it with a 4.5 bullet, he said it was much better then the super 10, more useable...

Here's some pics of me using mine in Devon last year...

Those tracks in the sand were from me being dragged along the beach on my heals , My longest continous slide was about 100 yards

All depend on on the usage mate, you don't have to fly it if the winds are to high. the reason I only got a 2.5, is because when I got it in Devon a few years back the winds real high at the time, so anymore then a 2.5 would have been a real handful for a beginner, even the 2.5 was scary, getting airborne for the first time

Well i was just thinking i wanna be able to fly with everyone. I cant fly the Gemini at any more than 18mph so i need something to fly when the wind is above that.

Nice to fly whatever the conditions ya know

I must admit that's why I like the 2.5 fun in all conditions, the bigger the kit the lower the winds you should be flying it in...

Your more then welcome to have a go of mine mate, 2.5 is a good starting size for power kites, 1.5 has very little traction, 3.5 has loads, possible to much for fun at times.

I wasn't quite being dragged along, slipped on the sand and ended up on my back, then used the wind to pull me back to my feet

Also be aware that the different models of kites, all have different flying characteristics, the rage has very little lift, the blade has a fair bit of lift, and the sabra givers loads even in low wind.

if / when I get another I'll probaly aim for a blade, but they don't start till 4m....

I'd recommend the 2.5 then, you'll get dragged about and have fun, without to much risk of serious damage.... to yourself
