I've been looking at Speedmasters - actually the MK IV in particular as it uses the 1045 Calibre, Omega's version of the Lemania 5100... tempting.

The post 1969 'Speedmaster' plexi hand wound 861 is another undervalued vintage Omega although I don't think it's actually as good as watch as the MKIV. Values are only going one way- to the moon

I'm keeping my keeping my eye open for a 1970 moon watch, for no other reason than I was born that year. I like them a lot but I do like my watches to have a day/date on them too, which is why the Mark IV and TV screen Speedmasters appeal. Plus I like 70s stuff generally.
