The OP had nothign to do with the figures I posted - it was to people who stated that there was a big fraud problem with disability benefit - Which, there patently isn't - Job done.

Get out there, listen to the wasters, see them, touch them. Part of the problem is officials not being allowed to question these wasters properly for fear of losing their jobs and being sued by the individuals, who ironically would be backed from some 'do good' organisation all the way to court!
You seriously think that people working in offices that get to meet these wasters claiming that 'larditus' is a recognised disability, believe them? They ignore the wasters but process their claims for fear of speaking out and getting no support in doing so, plus risking their own job!
In fact those that don't want to work must find it easier to invent an illness/disability to not work than just saying they don't think they can do a particular job offered. Ironically they'd probably get more money and less hassle to find employment once they filled out a form and had an interview with somebody who dare not disagree with a new found, soon to be classified disability like 'Maccydeeus'.

There is a lack of tools in place to police disability fraud hence to low rate of peole being caught. The instances of people being caught is irrelevant to the instances of the crime taking place.
