Personally, I think it takes the **** however I know a number of people who are living with their girlfriends and at least one that rents his house out. The girlfriends have kids so obviously she gets given a house and the lads move in.

Stinks but I would never grass. Considering round here, housing association have built very nice new houses in the area, I'm inclined to do exactly the same. If you got a posh car, just rent the house not including the garage - job done.

It's hardly fair on those that work hard and pay their way though is it? Imagine if everyone stopped working and decided to sponge off the State? It would be civil anarchy and collapse of society within a short time. If this is a result of democracy then perhaps we ought to give Communism a try?

Yes it seems we have enough of our own home grown scroungers without importing them.

Would you have dignity and respect for yourself though? Plus we need more people like you doing the job you do.

Not quite elevated to God status just yet. We need more stringent laws in place.

the thing is is this country is fooooked, I could never not work (not till retirement anyway) But what is that this country has so many free loader who contribute nothing to society but they get everything they want. The good decent people work, even for minimum wage abd struuglr through life and still pay for these people to have big palsma/lcd tvs, a free house and more money than sence

Reflection of modern society I'm afraid Simon. Unless there is a drastic change in the system the lazy and workshy will continue to **** a snook at everyone.

Yes and it's frustrating to see it all going on around you while you're working hard and paying into the system. It seems the Government needs these lazy, unthinking scum to keep them in power. It's woe betide any government who is faced with an electorate that is able to think for itself, and not be taken in by the drivel spoonfed to us via the media and press. It's no use telling us things are getting better and that quality of life is improving. The fact is there are changes taking place that are detrimental to our way of life. The electorate is not getting value for money for our taxes (ask the poor people afflicted by the flooding). Sometimes desperate situations require desperate measures. Is civil unrest what the goverment wants? It is sure going to get it if things don't change soon.

Dont shop ya mate. Shop his missus. Although difficult as you are emotionally attached to him, morally and head over heart its the right thing to do.

Cant do the time, then dont do the crime

Either tell him straight to his face that you plan to report him or forget it. If you can't front him and go behind his back then you're a coward and a sneak.

First of all i wouldn't grass a mate up like that - no matter what they had done, (within reason)

But let me tell you this - having worked for the postal department in the Benefits Agency, they have a whole section on fraud, you'd be amazed how many people get grassed up. The fraud section was stacked full everyday from anomynous people grassing people up.

It might not be today it might not be tommoprrow but they will be investigated eventually and they will get caught and your concience will be as pure as the driven snow.

Then you can say - 'told ya so'

I'd be inclined to do it. Depends how good a mate he is. I'd deffo be having a chat with him and basically saying he's a scum sucking tight ***.

I don't see why he should get away with it. Needs to keep her knees together if she's got kids she can't pay for.

5t.

Maybe because a lot of estates are actually quite good, many flats and houses provided by councils are better and much bigger than a lot of privately owned ones that people work their ***** off to pay te mortgage on.
