Mickle you don't too bad for 860.
Wind noises are common to frameless doors as the rubber gets worn every time you open and close the doors. Only cure really is check to see if the door rubbers need replacing or don't go as fast. Or you caneven turn the music up so you can't hear it!
Mine's is 422 BTW.

Mine's number 0846
Interestingly enough, I've not had the paint problems that some of the earlier cars had. Perhaps they got it sorted for the later cars.
Mine was registered on the 8th September 2000, about 4 days after it arrived on the transporter.
Anyone seen this really cool website http://www.p1woc.org.uk
Regards
Kurt

Mr Data.
just checked that website.
"The first cars, only available in Sonic Blue metallic, were delivered from late Spring 2000 with new cars still being sold now, proving there is still a demand for the fastest ever Impreza, despite the new 2001 "ugly bug" model being released."
Since when is the P1 the fastest ever impreza?
whose site is this, cos it ask for any mistakes to be alerted. I hereby alert this one!

No offence Adam but that is being just a little pedantic. Of course we mean standard car - anyone can mod a manufacturers car to go faster if theyve got the time and money.
Comparing a manufacturers road car to WRC variants also is rather pointless. Thats like saying xxx isnt the fastest bmw - cos the F1 car is a lot faster - rather pointless dont you think? A) Subaru/Sti/Prodrive wouldnt let you buy one even if B) you could afford one.
From all the stats Ive seen the P1 is the fastest incarnation of the Impreza available to Joe public in its standard form. Even if its not then it is for the Uk buyer as the STi is an import.
