I think most Scoob and Evo owners have considered each respectively at some point as they are very similar animals. For me the Evo looks better, has a better image but the servicing costs put me off. Performance wise there isn't really anything in it to be fair.
Once you start modding there is nothing in it.

I thought i might add to this debate, im an ex-scooby owner as ive got a E5 now and i must say the scooby was a great car (although it was my first) and the noise that thing made was music to my ears and i do miss that and as an every day car the scooby is the car for me. but now i own a car for work my evo is used only on a weekend and to me that is enough for me because its an trully awesome car drive and it certainly draws more attention ie. people taking photos of it (never happened with the scooby though
) but the evo does tire me more than my old scooby (my opinion anyway). Not sure what the newer scooby's and evo's are like to drive everyday but im guna stick with the evo's for a while if you dont mind ![Thumb](images/smilies/thumb.gif)

they were reconniscance photos aka "gone in 60 seconds" so i wouldnt be quite so proud if i were you.
Not a problem in a scooby you see, simply cos there are so many about the chances of yours getting knicked is tiny

If they want they can have it!!!! But in a strange way i was nervous about parking up in the scooby but with the evo i park it anywhere and dont feel nervous about leaving it... guess im older and wiser now... After all there are only tin cans with wheels (i mean all make of cars not just evo's)

The whole 'scooby scene' seems to be a bit friendlier - dunno, is that just my experience? Never driven an Evo but I'd have one. Simply because any manufacturer that chooses 'FQ' (wonder what that stands for???) as an acronym earns brownie points in Dan's book.

Actually, I'll stick with my Scoob. Just had a 15k service - £150 from Len at Subaru4You, which is an absolute bargain. The cars are tough as anything and cheap as chips to maintain- something that Evo's are not.
