My espridrills were uscathed, they were still controlling the pedals of my car, in a Mcguivor stylee

But back on track, nobody seems to give a flying **** these days. I'm not sure the OP's thinking of "I'll let someone else do it" stands. I just think they say "**** em, not my problem"

I'd like to think that if my missus or mother etc were stuck on the motorway, some helpfull person would assist. Assuming it's not a full bottom end rebuild, of course

When we were in Montreal some chap's car stalled at the intersection of Saint Catherine's and University at rush hour. Lots of mad Quebec types shouting at chappy, so we helped him push his car across the intersection, all the time having abuse thrown at us. Chap was very thankful for our help

When it comes to helping someone on a highway over here, I think I'll leave well alone. There have been a couple of recent fatalities where someone has broken down and another helpful soul has stopped to help them out and some moron has driven into the cars on the shoulder and ended up killing the people, ususally the person who was doing good deed Not good at all.

Look on the bright side though, Markus. Imagine if they'd broken down AND had Apple related problems.

Well done from me too.

Where did you get all that BHP from anyway?

My car was already heavily modified when I bought it.

Just bought an Sti RA engine to go in it now

He wouldn't be able to help unfortunately, Spoon. Would you be able to get out of the car on a busy motorway with a full weight boner throbbing away in your Hawaiian shorts, like a demented baby alien?

It was right on the roundabout blocking all the other traffic, most people were squeezing round the car by going up the pavement etc. As I approached the car I could see it was an elderley man around at least 85 years old. I stopped the car and went over to see if I could help, the guy was very hard of hearing and was very upset. He had an RAC breakdown card but had no idea what to do with it. A lady also stopped and she rang the RAC for the guy and took him away from the road where he was safer. I decided to push his car out of the way as it couldn't be driven.

I'd say for around a good 5 minutes cars were driving past and couldn't be bothered to stop and help even though I was trying to move the car myself.

Eventually a car stopped and a guy helped me move the car out of the way, when we were doing this some tw*t gave us a load of abuse

The old guy was very upset by what happened but couldn't have said thankyou anymore if he tried

How many of you would have done the same, would you have stopped and helped or would you have just thought 'let someone else do it' ?
Depends , if it was psl id have left him

I'd struggle with a semi, let alone a full weight.

Well there is no answer when it comes to ingratitude and sheer bad manners from some people I suppose. Sometimes that can be caused by panic as far as the elderly are concerned, but you can never tell until you have actually helped them of course.
