Why all of a sudden you selling your car? did you just get away with a caution or is there more, lets say possibly court, possible ban, need to sell the car for bus and taxi fares for the next year atleast? somehow mate i think your digging a hole very deeply and dropping yourself in it every post you place on this thread.
sorry just my opinion.

Its been like this for years Chris You just have to pay for most of the priviledges now.
Seems odd to be selling - getting rid of the evidence? Won't work
Maybe selling before the rozzers have it off him?

[QUOTE=scotthldr;7177173]
He has the cheek to call me "less able"
Sti 04 he has far from got off with it, he has admitted to doing the crime so all it takes is for Mr Plod to come on here (which they do) and extract his confession. If he was stopped then the plod will have logged the incident and his details, which will match with his "view my scooby". So he is far from off the hook.
wasnt stopped in the 1st place and didnt speed in the 1st place, hence no police log ! and besides even if i did who said i was driving my subaru ??!!! all circumstantial lads... but my scooby is genuinely up for sale no joke about that bit, ive got a skyline on the way so its got to go, please note the registration plate will not come with the car, dvla will issue the car with the original plate which spells "BOM"

I wouldn't by that car in a million years after reading the above, regardless of whether it's true or not

Thats why you got let off, consider yourself very VERY lucky, not in favour of the local plod. They can't give you a ticket or arrest you without the evidence. As far as the "excuse", ignorance is no excuse of the law. If you were that desperate, theres petrol stations / 24hr supermarkets you can call into. You can be sure that if you had be caught on video, you wouldn't have driven home.
Regardless of what the road looks like or condition, theres obviously a reason why theres a 50mph limit. We all go slightly over the limit +10mph or so but doing what your proudly admitting on an open public forum is just dangerous and amazingly stupid!

Seems pretty obvious to me that you did get caught speeding, posted up about it, and now after realising the potential mess you could get into you are going for the cover up option first saying it was a wind up, then saying it was to get your car sold...

Had this story been true.... or if it is true.... it could have been a totally different story had you run someone down at 130mph!.... as you say it was a 50mph restriction thus there is a possibility of there being people or animals crossing....
Yer it was a personless road as you say....... but at 130mph do you honestly think you could avoid god forbid a person or even an animal (Dog, fox, badger, Deer etc) crossing the road?....me thinks not... then I guess it would be a while before you drove ANYthing again.
Are you one of the reasons Insurance is still high on Subaru's?

That is ridiculous that you were let off. You should be banged up if the police did their job.
Fair enough if police use common sence for something that's not worthy of points etc, but that's just taking the ****.
Bongo
Edit: i've since read the WHOLE thread, and it's comical genius!!! Proper entertaining thread is this haha!

So no people or cars around !! Is that the only danger you can foresee you idiot - what if one of your tyres had blown at that speed ?? In my mother's nursing home there is a young man who is paralysed from the waist down because his car had a blow out at 50mph - he was within the speed limit - you stupid article - any thoughts how that could affect your family !!!!

Having quickly looked through this thread, does anyone know about the guy that filmed himself in a Ferarri who filmed himself speeding. A policeman bought the DVD that he was selling then prosecuted him for speeding, the evidence was easy to see and provided by the individual. So this could read as a confession if the police involved read this. So don't count your chickens YET.
